The Karlawinda Gold Mine is located an hour by road Southeast of Newman. The project involves the construction of a new aerodrome for the minesite, which is expected to produce between 105,000 – 120,000 ounces of Gold per annum over a 12-year mine life. Completion of the new facility will allow planes to land only a few hundred metres from the mine’s camp.
Survey Dynamics is providing the major contractor on site, MACA Civil, with surveying services for bulk earthworks, drainage and the final levels of the 2km long airstrip.
